Hi, my name is Babe. I came to the shelter several years ago as a single mom with several puppies. I was a loving mother who is proud to say that all my pups found forever homes. I waited patiently at the shelter for a family to find me and a year later my dream came true! I was adopted to a wonderful couple who loved me completely. Oh, life was so good! I had a loving home, a soft bed, and lots of cuddles. I graduate from obedience school "top of my class." It really wasn't that difficult, as I love to please my humans. Unfortunately, my beloved owner passed away and I came back to the shelter. Although the people at the shelter are amazing and take great care of me, I grieve over not having a human and a real home of my own. As I mentioned, I love all humans, especially the little ones. I know my ideal family is out there looking for me, but they need to realize that I do better with male dogs than females and well I'll just tell you the truth, I really prefer to be an only dog if possible. Please forgive me but I just don't like cats - not at all! I have a high prey drive and I will leave it at that. I know that I may be asking a lot, but there has to be another family out there that wants me, right? In return for adopting me I will be your most faithful companion. I will sit by your side and give you doggie kisses. We can go for walks and rides in the car. I will be there in the morning when you wake up, wait patiently for you to come home when you leave and will watch over you and our home at night while you sleep. You will be proud of how well I behave and all your friends and family will think you are a dog whisper. I will love you forever. Please come visit me soon so we can start our lives together.
